YOUNG JUDAEA AMERICAN PROGRAMS

Young Judaea American Programs provide positive Jewish & Zionist experiences for 3rd-12th graders across the United States. Full-time camping, youth and education professionals help run our summer camps, year-round clubs, conventions and more. American Programs initiatives/activities generate fun and excitement where kids can learn, grow and make life long friendships. Through games, weekend Shabbat experiences, field trips, social events, and exposure to Jewish and Israeli culture, kids enhance their Jewish identity and make a lasting connection to Israel. Don't miss our monthly e-newsletter American Programs Press to learn more.

YOUNG JUDAEA ISRAEL PROGRAMS

Young Judaea Israel Programs just concluded another successful summer with tremendous growth! More than three hundred teens from North America spent their summer with Young Judaea in Israel. All participants traveled in Eretz Yisrael for over 5 weeks learning about the land, their history and their Jewish identities. In addition to our four buses of teens traveling directly to Israel, we also had two full buses of teens traveling to Italy first, en route to Israel. There was also a Young Judaea group going to Spain for the first time ever! In addition, communities in Houston and San Francisco sent over thirty of their teens to Israel under Young Judaea's auspices. Recruiting has already begun for summer 2005! If you know of any interested teens or want to learn about the Hadassah discount, please contact Young Judaea Israel programs at 800-725-0612 or e-mail: .

On August 29, 2004, over 200 North Americans departed for Year Course 2004-2005. Upon their arrival, they were met by 75 British and 15 Israelis in Jerusalem. This is our largest group of Year Course participants from North America and around the world since the program's inception in 1956. Our participants have the option of 9 different program tracks ranging from Shalem, the Orthodox track to Telem, which will take participants to the Hadassah Neurim Youth Aliyah Village. For more information about Year Course, please contact Young Judaea Israel programs at 800-725-0612 or visit www.yearcourse.org.
